I'm an open format DJ, meaning I play a mix of many genres, rather than being a DJ who only plays one particular type of music. This is vital, as my knowledge is vast and helps fill dancefloors with all ages.

As a Wedding DJ I don't stand behind a booth hiding all night playing music, I want to interact with your guests, I want to figure out what is going to get your guests dancing. A full dancefloor, with guests singing as you dip the volume of a track, is the best feeling in the world.
Could not have asked for a better evening at our wedding a few weeks ago. Dan provides a very friendly and professional service and is able to read the dance floor perfectly. Had the guests up dancing until the end. Took the time to get to know us before the wedding as well. Highly recommend!
We hired Dan to DJ at our wedding back in March and could not have asked for a better day! Myself and Becca would personally like to thank you for making our day memorable and for getting everybody up on the dancefloor! You're such a decent, well mannered bloke and went out of your way to make the day we'd been waiting for! Leading up to the wedding (also having to postpone due to Covid), Dan kept in contact the whole time! The song choice system Dan has to offer is an excellent system in which our guests could sign in to an online portal allowing them to choose the songs of their choice to be played on the day! We recently received our wedding photos from our photographer and both Becca and I noticed throughout the day all of our guests had a smile on their faces which goes to show everyone enjoyed themselves! DAN knows how to entertain the room and the people in it great music knowledge and took the time prior to our party to build up the playlist and was able to enhance that list thereafter which made a good night great??
If I could give more stars I would. What a guy. The service provided was better than I could’ve anticipated. Still laughing every now and then with flashbacks of him announcing that he had just realised my parents facing him were cardboard cut outs and not a couple ready to start a staring comp haha!
We were trying to get cringe couple shots as you do and our son Teddy (2) started being a nuisance and screaming, he didn’t hesitate to come over and try and entertain him. He didn’t even need asking. I really really appreciated that.
Seriously though, absolutely incredible and the music was absolutely spot on for us. He took what we put on our playlist and continued with what he could see people were dancing to and really paid attention.
Could not recommend more!

Dan will go above and beyond to make sure your event is as spectacular as he can make it, and he certainly did that at our wedding! He managed to cater to the musical needs of myself (a fan of rock) and my sister (a fan of dance), keeping us all grooving all night! I cannot recommend his services enough, it will be the best decision you make for your event!
Our work DJ cancelled, thankfully Dan was available last minute (THANK YOU), he turned up within half hour of calling him, he came into what started as a slow night, but with Dans amazing DJ skills, his knowledge of all things music and his brilliant personality and professionalism (a few inflatables and glow sticks thrown in), we ended the night brilliantly! Everyone up dancing and having a fab night!

Dan was really helpful editing our first dance mash up he went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect and good quality for us. Would definitely hire Dan again for future events all our guests danced and many till the end. Really nice guy to work with with.
The photo box was so much fun as well and has provided us with some lovely/funny photos and videos of our friends and family.
On top of all of this Dan took videos himself and sent them to us which we still watch on repeat and such a lovely thing to have.

Had hire of the Postbox photo booth for my sisters wedding, super fun added extra for the guests to have a picture as they arrive :) Dan went out of his way to deliver it to the venue and sent over the pictures first thing the next morning. Highly recommend :)
Absolutely amazing!!! Dan helped us all the though the lockdowns which was so humbling as we had to reschedule our wedding. The guests didn't stop dancing all night!! Would definitely recommend!!

We can't recommend DJP Discos highly enough . From the moment we booked for our wedding Dan was accomodating , attentive and so friendly. The online portal meant ourselves and our guests could choose our songs and manage our playlist right up until the day.

We hired DJP for Xmas parties and New Year’s Eve party. Was very professional and always contacted on the day to double check times to set up etc. When it came to the night he was all set up on time and played the right music for the right time of the night. I booked Dan for my joint 30th/60th party with my mum and I can honestly say he’s the best DJ we’ve ever had! Dan played for my 40th birthday party last Saturday night. He did an amazing job. Dispite some let downs, time changes and for him having to totally change my pre planned music choice. His vast variety of genre playlists managed to keep everyone happy. He also had a great equipment+light setup. He is very friendly and smiley

I was let down by another dj and Dan saved the day ,wish I had heard of him sooner He is a kind helpful person and his show was fantastic, he even found some Zumba numbers for us to dance to as well as a varied selection of music, nothing was too much trouble ,book Dan his prices very reasonable for such excellent service and he is local. What a fantastic evening we had at our Presthaven NYE PARTY dancing the night away with the music supplied by DJP. Dan provided a 5* service, great music and lighting.
Spoke several times since booking about timings, playlists etc, nothing to much trouble .
